A must see is the Wallace monument which is located approximately 2kms south of Stirling. It was constructed in memory of William Wallace who was hung, drawn and quartered in 1305. Also at the monument is displays including Wallace's two handed sword. The view from the top of this monument is just spectacular and well worth the visit.

St Andrew's is synonymous with the golfing fraternity. Golf has been played on this beautiful course since the 15th century. If you are intending to play a round of golf bookings need to be made well in advance.
