Glasgow

Glasgow Cathedral has been hallow ground for over 1500 years. The site was blessed in 397 by St Ninian. The cathedral was built in the Reformation Gothic style.

The Burrell Collection is probably Glasgow's main tourist attraction. The collection was donated by the wealthy industrialist Sir William Burrell. It exhibits everything from Chinese porcelain, medieval furniture and paintings.

There are lots of art galleries and museums. We suggest that you contact your local tourist bureau or the library for additional information.
